Defense
Air Force, Navy and Army work, including a job other suppliers declined on safety grounds.
HPS Fabrications builds for defense, government and municipal, industrial, commercial and bulk material handling customers. The equipment differs; the requirement rarely does. It has to carry the load, arrive on time and not fail. Find your sector below, or just send us the part.
Sectors
Air Force, Navy and Army work, including a job other suppliers declined on safety grounds.
Municipal and federal infrastructure, from clarifier systems to dam lifting beams.
Furnace equipment, conveyor systems, RDF feed equipment and process equipment.
Architectural steel and handrail, where the joints are at eye level and the finish is what people actually see.
Shiploaders, brows, bridges, gangways and conveyor components, engineered through ENCO since 1990.
A submarine hatch house, a stadium handrail and a shiploading station have almost nothing in common as products. As jobs they are the same: engineer it properly, fabricate it to the print, inspect it as it is built, and deliver when you said you would. What changes between sectors is the paperwork, the standards and the consequences of getting it wrong.
That consistency comes from two things: design-build engineering with licensed PEs on staff, and quality and compliance that inspects material on the way in and welds as they are made.

Common questions
No. Defense is a large part of the work, and so are government and municipal infrastructure, industrial process equipment, commercial architectural steel, and bulk material handling.
No. The sectors describe where the work has been, not where it can go. Describe the equipment and we will tell you straight whether we are the right shop.
Equipment that has to work, usually somewhere inconvenient, often at a size that cannot ship in one piece. That is the work HPS is built around.
